Propét Limited Warranty Policy

Propet Footwear, Inc. ("Propét") warrants that its products will be free from manufacturing defects as set forth in this policy (this "limited warranty").

If you feel that any product purchased on www.propetfootwear.com is defective you may initiate a Warranty Claim by contacting us by phone at 253-854-7600 or email at propetshoes@propetfootwear.com.  We will obtain the information necessary to review and process your claim and if approved we will be happy to replace your shoes. PLEASE NOTE – a product returned as defective must have one of the manufacturing defects described below.  Non-defective products must be timely returned in accordance with the Returns Policy.

IMPORTANT: Do not send us your shoes until you have been instructed to do so.

Propét reserves the right to inspect any shoe for determination of a manufacturing defect. If we determine in our discretion that the products contain a manufacturing defect, we will replace the product with the same or a similar product.  The warranty period is six months from the date of purchase.

What is a manufacturing defect that is covered by our limited warranty? Stitching that has come undone, hardware breaking or becoming detached, leather cracking, peeling or splitting, waterproof products leaking, sole separation, deterioration or cracking under normal wearing conditions.

What is NOT a manufacturing defect and is not covered by our limited warranty?

Improper fit is not a manufacturing defect. Feet come in a countless number of shapes and volumes. While we offer a wide variety of widths and sizes to accommodate even hard-to-fit feet, it is not possible that each of our products can perfectly fit everyone.

Ensuring proper size, fit and style selection is the responsibility of the purchaser and should be assured before purchasing the product. Products should be worn on carpet until a comfortable fit can be confirmed. Exchanges for size and fit issues should be made in accordance with the requirements of the Returns Policy.

Other conditions not considered a manufacturing defect include:

Material failure caused by excessive wear, unreasonable use, exposure to caustic chemicals, extreme heat, alterations, or abnormal wear related to occupation
Stitching or hardware failure due to being caught, hooked, snagged or other abnormal wearing accidents. Leather not properly treated to keep from drying out.
Waterproofing failure due to complete submersion in water or allowing the water to seep over the top of the footwear. Separation of soles or sole components due to being caught, hooked, snagged or cut Normal wear on soles or heels due to individual wear patterns, or heavy wear associated with occupation. Product worn past the point of being able to be repaired.

The foregoing is a non-exhaustive list of matters that do not constitute a manufacturing defect, and other conditions may not be a manufacturing defect covered by this limited warranty.

What products are NOT covered by our warranty?

1. Returns from customers residing outside the US or products purchased outside the US.
2. Products with labels removed.
3. Products not purchased from www.propetfootwear.com
4. Salesman samples, final sale closeouts, or promotional products.
5. Products that have been out of production for more than 3 years.

Certain of Propét's products are listed or described as designed for individuals with diabetes, arthritis, joint or foot pain, or other physical issues.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, Propét does not represent or warrant that any of its products have been approved by any health care professional, healthcare organization or regulatory body.  Cutomers are encouraged to seek advice from their professional healthcare advisors.

This limited warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty of Propét and its affiliates with respect to the products, and this limited warranty replaces all other express and implied warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, all of which are hereby excluded. In no event shall Propét be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out and/or concerning the use of any product, and any recovery is limited to the purchase price. No other person or entity may change this limited warranty.

Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, or exclusion of implied warranties or all or certain types of damages.  If you are subject to the laws of one of those states, the above limitations may not apply to you.
